1. INSTALL WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Install a new gasket and the water pump with the 8 bolts shown in the illustration. Bolt A Torque: 47 N·m (479 kgf·cm, 35 ft·lbf) Bolt B Torque: 23 N·m (235 kgf·cm, 17 ft·lbf) Bolt C Torque: 20 N·m (204 kgf·cm, 16 ft·lbf)

2. INSTALL WATER PUMP PULLEY

(a) Temporarily install the pulley with the 4 bolts.

(b) Using SST, hold the pulley and tighten the 4 bolts.

SST: 09960-10010

09963-01000

Torque: 21 N·m (214 kgf·cm, 16 ft·lbf)

3. INSTALL INLET WATER HOUSING

(a) Install a new gasket to the water pump.

(b) Connect the No. 3 water by-pass hose to the inlet water housing.

(c) Install the inlet water housing with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 21 N·m (214 kgf·cm, 16 ft·lbf)

HINT:

Install the hose so that the direction of the hose clamp is as indicated in the illustration.

9. INSTALL NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

(a) Connect the No. 1 water by-pass hose to the water by-pass joint and water inlet housing.

14. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the air cleaner hose and tighten clamp until the end of clamp band is within limit mark.

Torque: 4.0 N·m (41 kgf·cm, 35 in·lbf)

(b) Connect the No. 2 ventilation hose with the clamp.

HINT:

Install the hose so that the direction of the hose clamp is as indicated in the illustration.

(c) Connect the vacuum hose.

15. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach grommet to air cleaner before mounting the air cleaner.

(b) Insert the air cleaner into the fender apron hole, and fully insert pin to grommet.

(c) Install the air cleaner with the 2 bolts. Torque: 5.0 N·m (51 kgf·cm, 44 in·lbf)

(d) Connect the connector and install the clamp and wire harness.

(e) Connect the air cleaner hose and tighten the clamp until the end of clamp band is within limit mark.

Torque: 4.0 N·m (41 kgf·cm, 35 in·lbf)
